The showroom context is simple: it's consistently a top seller in its segment, and goes head-to-head with strong competition such as the Toyota RAV4 and Kia Sportage. The strongest reasons to consider it were the mix of price, packaging, equipment and ownership confidence. That year, the public sales record shows 22,835 Australian deliveries.
