The new Jeep Wrangler is a large SUV offered in a 3D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $32,000 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Sport variant and topping out at $44,000 for the Rubicon.
There are 3 variants of the Wrangler available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2009.
Engine options include 3.8L multi-point injection (146kW/315Nm) and 2.8L turbo diesel common rail (147kW/460Nm). Available with 6-speed manual, 4-speed automatic or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2011 Wrangler is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
