2026 Hyundai Santa Fe drops troublesome transmission
A model-year update for the Hyundai Santa Fe large SUV will bring a switch back to a conventional automatic transmission, in the US at least.

The new Hyundai Santa Fe is a large SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $29,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the GL variant and topping out at $37,990 for the GLS.
There are 4 variants of the Santa Fe available in Australia.
Engine options include 2.4L multi-point injection (106kW/201Nm) and 2.7L multi-point injection (132kW/247Nm). Available with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
The new 2000 Santa Fe is offered with a 5 year, 130,000 km warranty.
