Ford Endura recalled due to brake problem
3 Years Ago
The Ford Endura was the Australian name for the Ford Edge, a five-seat large SUV that sat between family crossovers and the locally important Everest. It offered a roomy cabin, diesel power and a more road-focused character than Ford's ladder-frame seven-seat SUV. The Endura is no longer sold new in Australia after a relatively short local run, leaving the Everest as Ford's main large-SUV offering. Its appeal now sits with buyers who want Ford size and comfort without the ute-based feel of an Everest. It lacks a third row and the badge recognition of some rivals, but it remains a spacious, understated family SUV with long-distance comfort as its main strength.
