Ram Trucks Australia is recalling 30 examples of the DT-series 1500 pickup truck as the indicators could stay on.
“Due to a software issue in the steering column control module (SCCM), the turn signal lever could remain active even after the steering wheel completes its rotation,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the turn signal indicators do not operate as intended, other road users may be unable to identify if the vehicle is turning.
“This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
