Nissan Australia is recalling 2942 examples of its Navara ute as their owner’s manuals have incorrect front and rear covers.
This recall affects all variants of the current D23-generation Navara built in 2021.
“Incorrect front and rear covers were used during manufacturing process of the vehicle owner’s manual and therefore the content provided does not match the vehicle,” said the company in its recall notice.
“The owner’s manual may contain incorrect information relating to the vehicle’s jacking points. A misuse of a jack up point may increase the risk of an accident causing injury to vehicle users.”

If you own an affected vehicle, you need to contact your local Nissan dealership to organise a free replacement.
If you have any further questions you can contact Nissan Australia on 1800 035 035.
