Kia Australia has recalled 10,046 examples of the 2020-2023 Carnival people mover to fix a problem with its powered sliding door.
“The Power Sliding Door system may not warn occupants while in operation,” Kia says in its recall notice.
“If the vehicle occupant is unaware of the power sliding door system is operating, it may increase the risk of injury.”

Kia Australia will contact affected owners and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
Concerned owners can call 131 542 or email customer_service@kia.com.au for more information.
