A video of the next-generation 2024 Dacia Duster has been leaked ahead of its official reveal scheduled for later today in Lisbon, Portugal.
A promo video leaked by Dacializate and Auto Reviews on YouTube shows the third-generation Dacia Duster which looks very similar to the 2021 Dacia Bigster concept.
The new model has a thin rectangular face with thicker LED headlights. It has a more aggressive front bumper which now features thin air intakes on either side of the lower grille, which is outlined by new accented grey section which a more angular design and incorporates the fog lights.

Along the sides, it has a revised alloy wheel design, and additional black plastic sections on the rear doors.
The window between the C- and-D-pillars is more sloped and sportier looking. Look closer, and the rear door handles appear to be hidden in the C-pillars.
The wheel arches are more pronounced thanks to a new rectangular-shaped design. It’s expected the next-generation Duster could also feature more interior space from a higher roofline.
At the rear, there are colour-coded twin-spoilers and a new minimalistic tailgate design compared to its predecessor.
It has completely redesigned V-shaped tail lights, and the rear bumper has a refreshed design but still offers a plastic bumper and rectangular reflectors. The exhaust tip appears to now sit underneath the bumper.
Overseas reports suggest the upcoming Duster could use the CMF-B platform which currently underpins the Renault Captur and Arkana. It currently uses the B0+ platform, a version of the first-generation Duster’s platform.
Based on the YouTube video title “Hybrid 140”, the Duster is expected to receive the same powertrain as the larger Dacia Jogger – a 1.6-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine with the choice of either front-wheel or four-wheel drive.
According to Dacia’s website, its Hybrid 140 system combines the petrol engine with a 1.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
It produces combined outputs of 105kW of power and 205Nm of torque. The Hybrid is only available with an automatic transmission.
Motor1 reports despite Dacia significantly increasing safety and the range of assisted driving technologies, the Duster should still be competitive on price.
The next-generation seven-seat Dacia Bigster, which is also expected to make a debut soon, will take many of its bits from this Duster.
The new-generation Duster and Bigster are set come to Australia from 2025 under the Renault brand.

“We have our hand up for the next-generation Duster, under the Renault brand,” general manager of Renault Australia, Glen Sealey, recently confirmed to CarExpert.
“Our role as importer is to pick the products that are right for Australia. And, in that case, under the Renault brand.”
“If you look at right-hand drive countries, Duster is sold as a Renault in South Africa and in India… so it’s not something that is new.”
“Our planning is for the middle of 2025. But nothing is locked in until it’s on the boat.
The introduction of Dacia has been in the works since Ateco, Australia’s largest independent importer, took on the Renault business when the company closed its factory shop here.
It’s unclear what pricing will look like compared to the European market. Mr Sealey claims the Dacia is “positioned as a value offering” in Europe but claims “the notion that Dacia is going to be this very low-priced European sourced vehicle, it just doesn’t exist.”
CarExpert understands the Bigster could join the Australian lineup after its launch in the United Kingdom in 2025.
“We’ve got our hand up for certain products in the Dacia range. Duster is one of those, and so too is Bigster,” said Mr Sealey.
