Ford Australia is recalling almost 25,000 examples of its previous-generation Mustang due to a reversing camera problem.
“Due to a manufacturing issue, the rear-view camera may not display the rear-view image whilst reversing as intended,” says Ford in its recall notice.
“If the rear-view camera does not operate as intended while reversing the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle.
“Note: Indicator warning lamp (the rear-view camera is unavailable) will illuminate in the instrument cluster.”
