Cupra Born VZ arrives in Australia – with a catch
The 245kW Cupra Born VZ electric hot hatch has finally arrived in Australia, but only as a one-off unit that has already been sold to a keen customer.

Ford is recalling its 2013-17 EcoSport crossover due to a fire risk.
“The hood insulator may become damaged and come in contact with hot engine components resulting in an engine bay fire,” the company says in its recall notice.
“A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.”
- A total of 1029 vehicles are affected

Ford will contact you in writing if you own an affected vehicle.
You’ll then need to make an appointment with a Ford dealership for a free inspection and repair.
