2027 Polestar 4 coupe SUV prices cut to match new, more practical sibling

After revealing the 2027 Polestar 4 SUV earlier this month, Polestar Australia has announced it has cut pricing of the existing Polestar 4 coupe SUV to match it.

Single-motor rear-wheel drive variants of both body styles are now priced at an identical $73,900 before on-road costs, with dual-motor all-wheel drive variants priced at $81,750 plus on-roads.

The Polestar 4 coupe with Performance pack, which requires the fitment of the Plus pack, is priced at $95,450 plus on-roads, also matching its more wagon-style counterpart.

The pricing adjustments mean all Polestar 4 coupe variants are $4600 cheaper than before.

Polestar Australia had already announced model year 2027 (MY27) pricing for the Polestar 4 coupe in June, ahead of vehicle arrivals across July and August.

MY27 updates brought a recalibrated chassis, with significant suspension revisions including new spring rates, high-capacity dampers and revised anti-roll bar settings.

Combined with a new steering tune, Polestar said in a statement the chassis tweaks are intended to bring a “more controlled ride” and improve both comfort and the 2230kg coupe’s dynamic agility.

Polestar also announced a newly available 22kW AC charging option for $900, as well as some tweaks to the standard and optional equipment lists.

There’s a range of option packages available on the Polestar 4 in both of its body styles. These are:

Nappa upgrade: $5700-$6100 (requires Plus pack)

The Plus pack is required if you opt for the Polestar 4 Dual motor with Performance pack, which also adds 22-inch alloy wheels, unique chassis tuning and Brembo brakes.
