The upgraded MY27 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is finally coming to Australia, with orders for the track-focused V8 supercar opening today.
General Motors Australia and New Zealand (GM ANZ) has announced the range-topping MY27 Corvette Z06 will be priced from $299,990 before on-road costs in Australia – over $36,000 less than the model it belatedly replaces.
Available to buyers Down Under through an official build-to-order program, the latest Z06 will join the Corvette Stingray Coupe, Stingray Convertible and E-Ray, currently priced from $193,990, $232,990 and $292,990 plus ORCs respectively.
The Z06 will be offered exclusively as a 3LZ Coupe, with every car built to a confirmed customer specification.

At its heart is Chevrolet's hand-assembled 5.5-litre naturally aspirated LT6 V8, which produces 475kW at 8550rpm and 595Nm at 6300rpm. It features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication and variable valve timing, with an 8600rpm redline.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with a Z06-specific final-drive ratio.
The Z06 also gets a range of chassis upgrades over the standard Corvette, including Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, six-piston front Brembo performance brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential and forged aluminium wheels.
Customers can further sharpen the car's track credentials with the optional Z07 Performance Package, which adds a carbon-fibre high-wing rear spoiler and other aerodynamic components, performance suspension, upgraded brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes are also available.

Other options include carbon-fibre ground effects, a carbon-fibre or transparent removable roof, racing stripes and an engine appearance package with carbon-fibre panels, LED engine lighting and an optional red engine cover.
The build-to-order approach allows buyers to specify from 10 exterior colours, including three new options for MY27 – Pitch Grey Metallic, Admiral Blue Metallic and Roswell Green Metallic – alongside a range of forged 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheel designs.
Inside, the Z06 comes standard in the high-grade 3LZ specification, with GT2 bucket seats trimmed in Nappa leather, carbon-fibre interior detailing, sueded microfibre upper trim, a carbon-fibre steering wheel and paddles, head-up display and a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system.
A front lift system with memory, Performance Data Recorder, removable roof, and soft-close front and rear luggage covers are also standard.

The Z06 also receives Chevrolet's updated Corvette cockpit, combining a 14-inch driver information display, 12.7-inch central touchscreen and 6.6-inch auxiliary display.
The Performance Data Recorder has been upgraded with side-by-side video analysis and automated speed tips, while the car gains dedicated access to Performance Traction Management and PTM Pro Mode.
Chevrolet Connected Services, Google Maps, Google Gemini, Google Play Store, the Chevrolet Mobile App and over-the-air software updates are also included, alongside wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
“The new Z06 combines the iconic naturally aspirated V8, genuine track capability and an impressive level of personalisation,” said Greg Rowe, Acting Managing Director of GM ANZ.
“Importantly, its sharp new price point makes the Z06 more accessible, while the exclusive build-to-order model ensures every customer can create a Corvette that is distinctly their own.”

Orders for the MY27 Corvette Z06 open in Australia today (October 1, 2026), with production scheduled to begin at GM's Bowling Green Assembly Plant in the US in January 2027.
Delivery timing will depend on individual vehicle specifications and production scheduling.
The Z06 follows the launch of the MY26 Corvette Stingray and E-Ray, as well as the limited-run Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12 Hour Special Edition offered at the start of 2026.
2027 Chevrolet Corvette pricing is as follows:
| Model | Price before on-road costs |

| 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 2LT | $193,990 |
| 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT | $222,990 |
