Mercedes-Benz has introduced another special-edition C-Class, this time based on the top-spec C300 but adding a sportier look for a lower price.
The Mercedes-Benz C300 AMG Line Plus Edition is priced at $95,400 before on-road costs, but until June 30 (2026) it’s being offered for $94,900 drive-away.
The C300 on which it’s based, in contrast, is currently priced at $99,500 before on-road costs, or $107,107 plus ORCs based on a New South Wales postcode.
Mercedes-Benz says the special edition will be offered in “limited” numbers.

Over the C300, the AMG Line Plus Edition adds:
It doesn’t include the following equipment from the regular C300:
However, as with the regular C300, it includes:

The launch of this special edition follows a tweaking of the C300, the flagship of the non-AMG C-Class lineup, in 2025.
Its price was increased by only $100, but it received a swag of extra standard equipment including the aforementioned Digital Light LED headlights and Burmester sound system.
Earlier in 2025, Mercedes-Benz also slashed the price of the entry-level C200 by $4800 to $87,800 before on-road costs.

The AMG Line Plus Edition is the latest special-edition C-Class in this generation and the first based on the C300, and follows the C200 Night Edition in 2024 and the C200 Sport Edition in 2025.
The current (W206) generation of C-Class arrived here in 2022, initially only in C200 and C300 guise, with the latter priced at $90,400 before on-road costs.
The W206 is offered here only as a sedan, though a wagon is available overseas; the previous C-Class coupe and convertible were replaced by the CLE.

Mercedes-Benz delivered 3566 C-Class sedans in Australia in 2022, down 26.4 per cent.
And it’s been a gradual decline since then, with 2625 sold in 2023, 1943 in 2024, and 1425 in 2025.
The German brand has expanded the C-Class lineup, however, not just with special editions but also with last year’s introduction of the plug-in hybrid C350e, priced identically to the C300.
