UPDATE, 14/09/21 – This article initially included pricing for the M235i variants without Luxury Car Tax (LCT). These prices have now been updated to include LCT.

Prices for the 2022 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe are up incrementally across the board for 2022.

The price has slowly risen since the small four-door coupe arrived here on Australian shores in 2019.

Prices now start from $52,990 before on-road costs for the 218i and extend to $75,900 before on-road costs for the M235i xDrive.

The front/all-wheel drive 2 Series Gran Coupe is unrelated to either the outgoing or redesigned 2 Series Coupe, which use rear-wheel drive platforms.

To the end of August 2021, BMW has sold 1459 2 Series Gran Coupes according to VFACTS, outsold by its 1 Series sibling (1913) and the Mercedes-Benz A-Class range (2891).

220i models are powered by a 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder producing 141kW and 280Nm. This is also mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic that powers the front wheels only.

M235i xDrive Pure and M235i xDrive models are powered by a higher-output 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder producing 225kW and 450Nm. This is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
