Alpine’s ultra low-volume A110 range has a new flagship for 2021.
The 2021 Alpine A110 S features a more powerful version of the A110’s turbocharged 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine plus an active sports exhaust.
Power is up 30kW to 215kW, though torque is unchanged at 320Nm.
The extra power is enough to shave 0.1 seconds off the 0-100km/h time, with the new S doing the dash in 4.4 seconds.
Other performance enhancements include a sportier suspension tune and larger, 320mm brake discs (up from 296mm) with orange callipers, plus Michelin Pilot Sport 215/40 R18 front and 245/40 R18 rear tyres with new, matte black 18-inch alloy wheels.
18-inch Fuchs forged wheels with a Satin Titanium finish are optional, while you can also opt for a gloss carbon fibre roof.
Inside, there are Sabelt bucket seats upholstered in leather and Dinamica microfibre trim.
The latter can also be found on the steering wheel, headliner, sunvisors and pillars, while the A110 S also includes matte carbon fibre trim and orange stitching details.
The rest of the range is unchanged from last year, though prices have increased slightly.
All prices exclude on-road costs.
