Jaguar Land Rover has recalled the 2019-21 Discovery four-wheel drive to fix a problem with the battery earth.

“The battery may be insufficiently earthed to the vehicle chassis. As a result the vehicle may exhibit a range of electrical faults, including engine cut out while being driven and lose of all electronics,” the recall notice says.

“Losing power while driving increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

  • A total of 266 vehicles are included in the recall

Jaguar Land Rover will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
