Nissan is recalling its 2019-20 Patrol due to an issue with the fuel pump module.

“The fuel pump module may not have been manufactured properly and may bind internally, restricting or stopping fuel to the engine,” the company says in its recall notice.

“If fuel flow is restricted or stopped, the engine may stall during driving and the vehicle may not restart, increasing the risk of an accident and injury or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.”

  • A total of 1158 vehicles are affected
  • The VIN list is attached here
  • The original recall notice is attached here

If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact your Nissan dealer to organise a free inspection and repair.

If you have any further questions, you can contact the Nissan Customer Service Centre on 1800 035 035.
