Nissan Patrol

The Nissan Patrol is a large 4x4 SUV built for Australian families, tourers and tow-focused buyers who need serious space and long-distance capability. Long associated with outback travel, regional use and caravan hauling, it offers a more petrol-focused alternative to the Toyota LandCruiser, with strong performance, a roomy cabin and genuine off-road credibility. Its size and fuel use mean it won’t suit every urban household, but for buyers carrying people, luggage and heavy gear across big distances, the Patrol remains one of Nissan’s most important nameplates. A new-generation Y63 Patrol is due in Australia in early 2027, with Nissan confirming an expanded six-model local lineup ahead of launch, although final equipment and pricing are still to be announced.
