The new BYD Sealion 8 is a medium SUV available in Australia from $56,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Dynamic variant and topping out at $70,990 for the Premium variant.
There are 2 variants of the Sealion 8 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in early-2026.
The new Sealion 8 is offered with a 6 year, 150,000 km warranty.
Engine options for the BYD Sealion 8 include 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (205kW/300Nm) and 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (359kW/675Nm). Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
