BMW iX5: Hydrogen-powered SUV to join petrol, diesel, PHEV, electric versions
BMW will be hedging its bets with the next-generation X5, offering the luxury SUV with a dizzying range of powertrain types including hydrogen.

2024 BMW X5
The new BMW X5 is a large SUV available in Australia from $134,900 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the M Sport variant and topping out at $246,500 for the M Competition variant.
There are 4 variants of the X5 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in early-2023.
The new 2024 X5 is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
Engine options for the BMW X5 include 3.0 in-line 6-cylinder turbo hybrid (210kW/650Nm), 3.0 in-line 6-cylinder turbo hybrid (280kW/520Nm), 3.0 in-line 6-cylinder turbo hybrid (360kW/700Nm), 4.4 v8 turbo hybrid (390kW/750Nm) and 4.4 v8 turbo hybrid (460kW/750Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic with manual mode transmission. All variants feature 4x4.
