2026 BMW X1 and X2 updates bring PHEV and MHEV power

The new BMW X1 is a small SUV available in Australia from $60,400 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Xline variant and topping out at $92,300 for the base variant.
There are 3 variants of the X1 available in Australia and this generation went on sale in mid-2022.
The new 2024 X1 is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
Engine options for the BMW X1 include 1.5 in-line 3-cylinder turbo (115kW/230Nm), 2.0 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (150kW/300Nm) and 2.0 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (233kW/400Nm). All variants feature 7-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct) transmission. Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
