BMW Speedtop: Exclusive V8 three-door wagon revealed
1 Year Ago
The BMW 8 Series is no longer on sale as a new car in Australia, but it remains BMW's modern luxury grand tourer. Offered across coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe body styles, it combined long, low styling with strong performance and a richly finished cabin. The 8 Series sat above the 4 Series as a more expensive and more sophisticated touring car, with V8-powered variants bringing effortless acceleration and a more muscular character. It was never intended to be as sharp as a dedicated sports car; its strength was covering distance quickly, quietly and with presence. For drivers drawn to large luxury coupes and fast four-door GTs, the 8 Series remains one of BMW's most elegant recent designs.
