The Audi Q2 is the smallest SUV in the local Audi range, offering a compact footprint with the higher seating position many small-SUV drivers want. The current Australian line-up uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 110kW and 250Nm, paired with front-wheel drive and a dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. The Q2 is best suited to urban use, where its size, visibility and easy performance make it simple to live with. Its strongest qualities are design, premium badge appeal and cabin presentation, while its limitations are the smaller rear-seat and boot space expected from a city-sized SUV.
