The new Volkswagen Golf is a Small Luxury offered in both 5D Hatchback and 5D Station Wagon body styles. Available in Australia from $24,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Trendline variant and topping out at $61,990 for the R.
There are 7 variants of the Golf available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2019.
Engine options include 1.4L turbo petrol direct injection (110kW/250Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (213kW/380Nm) and 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/280Nm). Available with manual or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2019 Golf is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
