The Suzuki Vitara is a compact SUV with a long-running nameplate and a focus on simple, practical motoring. It sits above the Ignis and alongside newer Suzuki crossovers, offering a higher driving position, useful interior space and available turbocharged performance depending on variant. In Australia it appeals to buyers who want an affordable SUV that is easy to drive and inexpensive to maintain. The Vitara is not as plush or technology-heavy as some newer rivals, but it has a straightforward charm and a reputation for reliability. Its size makes it manageable in the city, while available all-wheel drive gives it more flexibility than many urban-focused small SUVs.
