I bought this 2015 Honda Jazz new from a Honda dealer in Brighton, Victoria.
The dealer was great but has since closed or merged with another dealership which is not as good I believe.
The service experience was poor, as you will see if you read my review below. The main issue I had was with the headlights.
Yes

This car is reliable and dependable. It drives really well, has lots of power, and great visibility.
It's comfortable and has lots of storage.
I would happily buy this car again, but it's been discontinued.
This is my second Jazz and I bought one for a friend as well!
I bought this Honda Jazz, 2015, new from a Honda dealer in Brighton, Vic. The car is great, runs well and has plenty of go when you need it.

The seats are comfortable and the viewing area is great. I also appreciate that I can also see out of the little side windows, which is a great bonus, and not available in a lot of other cars.
The internal night light is also great – you can actually see – as opposed to some other cars I have tested where you're literally in the dark at night in the car, and I've had to use my phone to see anything.
And it is a marvellous car if you need to haul stuff. When I ran a boutique Airbnb a few years back, the space in the car was extremely useful as I often needed to carry stuff backwards and forwards. Apart from the boot which is a good size, I could lay down the back seats when needed and carry heaps of stuff.
These days I mainly go shopping and visiting friends but also do a country visit roughly once a month – 300kms round trip – and it goes really well. I like the fact that I can overtake with no problems or join a freeway without hesitation.

So, all good so far. However, the main issue I had was with the headlights. When I first bought it and had it serviced at Honda, I asked Honda to adjust the headlights 3 times before they did, and then they were subsequently slightly better.
However, 10 years on, my eyesight is not as good and I had trouble seeing at night. Therefore, I started looking for another car with better headlights. However, I wasn’t able to find one that suited all my requirements.
Finally, as a last resort I took my car to an electrical mechanic who advised me as to where I could get the lights polished (they were opaque), and aligned. They did a brilliant job for $100, and told me that the headlights had not been adjusted properly!!! (Shame Honda service!)
So, when I got the car back my lights were terrific. I could finally see properly at night. I also had the high beam replaced with a stronger globe and the high beam is sensational now.

So now I'm not at all keen to spend $20,000-$30,000 for a new car. In fact, I think my car might be better than most new cars in terms of reliability and performance. And it doesn't beep all the time. And I don't need to learn another language to operate it. (Modern cars are a bit of a nightmare in that regard I find). So, it’s a keeper.
In terms of expenses – the running costs are fine – I get it serviced once every 10 months as I don't do many kilometres these days. And so far, I have not spent any money on the car except for new tyres and windscreen wipers.
I would certainly recommend this car. It's quiet, it runs well, has plenty of space, great visibility for the driver and a 5-star ANCAP rating. It's a winner.
