The Hyundai Nexo is a hydrogen fuel-cell SUV that serves as one of Hyundai's most advanced alternative-fuel vehicles. It is not a mainstream private-buyer model in Australia, largely because public hydrogen refuelling infrastructure remains limited, but it has played an important role in government, fleet and technology demonstration programs. The Nexo drives much like an electric SUV, using hydrogen to generate electricity on board and emitting only water vapour at the tailpipe.
