The cars and SUVs that Ford should sell in Australia
1 Year Ago
The Ford Mondeo was Ford's mid-sized passenger car, offered in Australia as a liftback and wagon with a strong focus on long-distance comfort and practicality. It filled the space once occupied by larger sedans as buyer demand moved toward SUVs, but it eventually disappeared from the local range along with most mainstream mid-sized cars. The Mondeo is no longer sold new in Australia, yet it remains relevant for buyers who want a roomy family car without SUV height or weight. Wagon versions are especially practical, while later models offer mature road manners and a substantial cabin. Its understated image is part of the package: sensible, spacious and more polished than its sales profile suggested.
