    2023 Fiat 500e

    We’ve been waiting a while for the full-electric Fiat 500e, which was first revealed more than 3 years ago, but it's finally coming to Australia in mid-2023 with prices starting at  $52,500 before on-road costs and will compete against other electric vehicles (EVs) like the Mini ElectricGWM OraMG 4, and Nissan Leaf.

    It’s powered by a single, front-mounted electric motor producing 87kW of power and 220Nm of torque. It’s mated with a 42kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

    • Still a style icon, only cooler
    • Decent range for its battery size and weight
    • Up-to-date tech and all the mod cons are there

    Cons

    • Ride can be firm over bigger bumps and sharp edges
    • Rear seats are still for smaller kids
    • Boot is still small and the seats don't fold flat
