The Denza B5 is a large plug-in hybrid SUV with a strong off-road flavour, giving BYD's premium brand a rugged alternative to luxury family SUVs and traditional 4x4s. It combines high-output hybrid performance, all-wheel drive and a more adventure-focused look than Denza's people mover lineup. The B5 is aimed at buyers who want serious road presence, long-distance touring ability and the flexibility of electric assistance without moving to a fully electric SUV. Its appeal is the mix of luxury positioning and tough visual character, with enough performance to make it feel more than purely practical. For Denza, it is the model that gives the brand a more emotive SUV edge.

2026 Denza B5 Leopard owner review
Have you experienced any reliability issues with your vehicle since you purchased it? No. Have you had to make any warranty claims? No. Has your vehicle been serviced at least once since you took ownership? Yes. The 3500km Inspection Service, Oil & Filter, provided a loan car for the day, no cost. Booking was easy, but we did have to wait for service offerings to appear; our local Kew location did not have servicing up until early February. Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership…
