The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is getting a nip and tuck, with the updated ultra-luxury SUV expected to be revealed during 2024.

Photos were posted by Wilco Blok on Instagram showing an undisguised prototype.

Production of the brand’s first SUV began in 2018 and this is the first time Rolls-Royce has made changes to the SUV’s design.

Up front, the Cullinan has a new slim rectangular headlight design and an updated front bumper.

The lower bumper air intakes are simplified and have an angular design, for a more aggressive look.

Rolls-Royce has closed off the section underneath the headlights, removing the two air intakes.

At the back, it appears to feature new square exhaust tips as well as a revised rear bumper with black and chrome accents.

It’s unclear what changes will be made to the interior.

Considering these changes weren’t covered by camouflage, this could suggest the facelift could debut soon – likely during 2024.

Rolls-Royce has confirmed Series 2 updates of its Cullinan, Ghost and Phantom will keep the V12 engine even as the brand introduces its first electric vehicle (EV), the Spectre.

This won’t be the case past 2030 however. Recently retired Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös told Autocar earlier this year that “by the end of 2030, there will be no more V12”.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V12 petrol engine, which produces 420kW of power and 850Nm of torque.

It is capable of a 0-100km/h sprint in 5.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 250km/h.

The Cullinan like other Rolls-Royce models is highly customisable. It is offered in two trim levels: the standard Cullinan and the Black Badge.

While pricing starts from $705,000 before on-road costs for the base model, the Black Badge starts from $810,000 before on-road costs.
