Queensland Police officers have arrested a 37-year old man after he allegedly stole a police van and crashed it.
Officers responded to reports a man was armed on Boundary Road in Narangba in the early hours of this morning.
They were reportedly unable to detain the man. The man then allegedly escaped officers and drove off in a Hyundai iLoad police van.

The man drove down Anzac Avenue in Mango Hill – in Brisbane’s north – before allegedly crashing the vehicle on the side of the road and escaping on foot.
Queensland Police reports the man was later captured and taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He remains under police guard and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigations are continuing and at this stage it’s unclear if the man has been charged.
