Peugeot 308, 3008 and 408 recalled

Inchcape European Automotive is recalling several examples of the Peugeot 3008, 308 and 408 that may not display a vehicle safety system warning.

"Due to a software issue, the instrument panel cluster may fail to illuminate the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) warning if the front camera is blocked," the company says in its recall notice.

"Note: A warning message may appear for approximately 10 seconds when the vehicle is turned on or off.

"A loss of AEB warnings could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users."

• A total of 62 vehicles across the 3008, 308 and 408 lines are affected, produced in 2024

If you own an affected vehicle, you'll need to schedule an appointment with an authorised Peugeot dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
