Mitsubishi has recalled two examples of its 2018 ASX ES due to an issue with their compliance labels.
“Incorrect compliance and data labels are fitted on the left and right hand front door openings. The labels do not match the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stamp in the engine bay,” the company says in its recall notice.
“Affected vehicles are not compliant with the Australian Design Rule (ADR 61/02) Vehicle Markings.”

If you own one of the affected vehicles, you’ll need to contact Mitsubishi’s customer service team on 1800 931 811 to arrange a replacement of the label, free of charge.
