JAC Motors Australia is recalling its T9 dual-cab 4×4 ute as the curtain airbags may not function correctly in an accident.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the retaining bolts on the left and right-side curtain airbags may not have been fastened with sufficient torque,” the company said in its recall notice.
“As a result, the airbags may not deploy as intended.
“In the event of an accident, the airbags not deploying as intended could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.”
