A bystander has caught the moment a Honda CR-V rolled down a boat ramp into the ocean.
The video posted to TikTok by Jamie Keaney shows a woman getting out of the CR-V SUV without activating the parking brake.
Much to her surprise, as she exits the vehicle it begins to roll down into the ocean, before starting to float a few seconds later.
The driver attempts to free herself of the car and shortly after tries to swim through the water to retrieve the SUV.
The automatic rain-sensing wipers activate as the vehicle drifts further into the water.

Thanks to the driver’s side door being left open, the SUV begins to quickly fill with water causing it to quickly sink.
An image at the end of the video shows the vehicle totally submerged in the ocean with its driver’s side door and tailgate opened.
It’s unclear what happened after the footage was taken, apart from Reddit users coming up with some clever quips and puns.
