Mental health charity Drive Against Depression will be hosting its first-ever New South Wales event, confirming a charity drive in Sydney to be held Sunday June 4.
Limited to 25 participants, the inaugural Sydney Drive Day will follow a familiar format to the organisation’s Melbourne-based events; “an engaging drive route mixed with meaningful conversation that fosters a true sense of community support”.
“Since the severe COVID restrictions have eased, Drive Against Depression has been able to return to its community in the way it matters most: with face-to-face dialogue and events that combine the freedom of driving with guidance on supporting mental wellness,” said Sarah Davis, co-founder of Drive Against Depression.
“We can’t wait to expand our mental health message, and hope to encourage further state-based events that support our cause on a national level.”
