2026 Ram 1500 Laramie Night Edition prices: New grade offers more expensive look for no extra money

The Ram 1500 Laramie Night Edition has been introduced as a new member of the full-size pickup line, with visual tweaks and a wheel-and-tyre upgrade to make it look more like the flagship Limited than the Laramie Sport it replaces.

The Laramie Night Edition is priced at $141,950 before on-road costs, matching the list price of the Laramie Sport. The outgoing model is now available on runout for $139,950 drive-away until September 30, 2026, or while stocks last.

Arriving in dealerships from July 2026, the Night Edition's unique features include replacing the Sport's 20-inch wheels with 22-inch black aluminium alloys, along with a black front grille, black door handles and black mirror caps.

There's also a sculpted 'power bulge' bonnet to add more visual muscle, plus black dual exhaust tips and black badging to complete the look.

Three paint colours are available: Bright White at no extra cost, and Granite Crystal and Diamond Black for an extra $950.

The Night Edition uses the same 313kW/635Nm 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder Hurricane petrol engine, eight-speed automatic transmission and dual-range four-wheel drive system as the Laramie Sport, with a maximum braked towing capacity of 4500kg. The Limited remains the only member of the local 1500 lineup with the high-output Hurricane six, pumping out 403kW and 707Nm.

Standard equipment includes keyless entry, side steps, power-folding mirrors, black leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front bucket seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

The cabin also features a 14.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen, a rear-view camera and a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, while the second row includes privacy glass and a leather-trimmed 60:40 split-fold reclining bench seat.

The tray includes a spray-in bedliner, tri-fold tonneau cover, powered tailgate and RamBox external storage compartments integrated into each rear guard. A tow bar, trailer wiring harness and trailer brake controller are also standard.

The reveal of the Laramie Night follows that of the Ram 1500 Express Black Edition, a new entry-level grade priced from $109,950 before on-road costs.

The Ram 1500, Australia's best-selling full-size pickup for the past eight years, led the segment between January and June 2026, ahead of the recently updated Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado and Toyota Tundra.

Despite record fuel prices, full-size pickup sales increased 11.5 per cent year-to-date, outpacing the overall new-vehicle market, which grew 1.2 per cent over the same period.
