The Geely EX5 mid-size electric SUV has received a bump in range – and in price – for 2026.
There’s a new, larger 68.39kWh battery, which increases claimed WLTP electric driving range by up to 45km.
The extra range comes at a price, with the EX5 now opening at $41,990 before on-road costs – up $1000.
The top-spec Inspire is also $1000 more expensive than before.

In other changes, a cargo blind and a Mode 2 charging cable are now standard, while a Jungle Green exterior finish is newly available.
The EX5 was the debut model for Geely Auto Australia, with customer deliveries commencing in March 2025.
The model got off to a strong start here as, despite not being on sale for the full year, it notched up 3944 deliveries in 2025.
The EX5 was joined in local Geely showrooms later in 2025 by another mid-size SUV, the Starray PHEV.

| 2026 Geely EX5 Complete | $41,990 (+$1000) |
| 2025 Geely EX5 Inspire | $45,990 (+$1000) |
Just one electric motor setup remains available for the EX5: a 160kW unit driving the front wheels only. However, the battery has been upgraded from a 60.22kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) unit to a 68.39kWh pack.

This results in an increase in range of 45km for the Complete and 40km for the Inspire. However, claimed 0-100km/h times drop from 6.9 and 7.1 seconds, respectively, to 7.4 and 7.6 seconds.
Energy consumption has increased slightly too, with the Complete rising from 15.8kWh/100km to 16kWh/100km, and the Inspire from 16.6kWh/100km to 16.9kWh/100km.
Charging capacity is unchanged.
