Hyundai’s budding luxury marque will soon wade into the electric car waters with a dedicated EV.
Expected to be known as the GV60, the new car will use the same e-GMP architecture as the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
While it may share drivetrains, power packs and broad SUV-meets-hatchback dimensions with its siblings, the GV60 promises to have a design all its own.
Externally the GV60 will have two-tier head- and tail-lights like other Genesis models.

The photos seen here were posted to the Cochespias forums, and were taken by someone sitting in the driver’s seat.
Inside the cabin, the GV60 has a free-standing area for the instrumentation display and infotainment touchscreen.
Ahead of the driver is a two-spoke steering wheel that’s different in design to other Genesis vehicles.
The centre tunnel features the infotainment system’s rotary dial directly ahead of transmission circular knob.
Silver-coated plastic and metal-feel pieces adorn the doors, dashboard and centre console. Some trim levels will have door panels with faux velour trim.

In addition to the leather and cloth trim seen here, other images on the forum show the seats covered in a unique mix of leather and mesh, and with bright greeny-yellow piping.
High-spec models will have cameras mounted where wing mirrors are traditionally situated.
For these vehicles there are monitors mounted on the door trim, providing the driver with an improved view past the C-pillars.
