Interested in a Mazda 3?

The Mazda 3 enters 2021 unchanged but for price increases on most variants of between $100 and $200.

Mazda continues to be very egalitarian with its 3. All three available powertrains are available with a choice of six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions, and every single trim level offers a choice of both.

In addition, every single trim level is available in both hatchback and sedan body styles. That means you can configure something as low-volume as a manual, sedan version of the X20 Astina mild-hybrid range-topper.

Despite this variety, Mazda 3 sales have been sagging since its most recent redesign.

Even in a segment that was down 29.3 per cent last year, Mazda 3 sales fell 41.2 per cent. It’s now been overtaken by the Kia Cerato, too, knocking it off the small car segment podium.
