The Genesis brand launched here with two sedans, in a market that has been cooling to that body style.

Come October 2020, however, Hyundai’s luxury arm will finally be able to tap into the thriving SUV market with its first SUV, the GV80.

It’ll be priced from $90,600 before on-road costs, undercutting the Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE while offering more power and equipment.

All three global powertrains will be offered locally, with the GV80 employing a local suspension tune for this all-new platform.
