Mercedes-Benz is recalling 10 examples of its EQC400 due to faulty sealing of the high-voltage battery housing.

“The sealing of the high-voltage battery housing may reduce overtime, allowing moisture to enter,” the company says in its recall notice.

“The moisture may result in the corrosion of the battery potentially resulting in an electrical short increasing the risk of a fire.”
