While they look off-road ready, these two cars are fully prepped for a drag race! Time to see which is fastest.

Two off-road performance cars are going drag racing! The off-road ready V10-powered Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato takes on the 1200hp twin-turbocharged and supercharged V8-powered RAM 1500 TRX from Dontex Performance to see which is fastest across the quarter-mile, both from a standing start and with a rolling start.
Whether you’re chasing performance upgrades, replacement parts, or gear to personalise your ride, eBay has one of the biggest ranges of car parts and accessories in Australia — all from trusted sellers and delivered straight to your door.
From everyday maintenance to serious mods, there’s something for every kind of car enthusiast. Check out what’s available at ebay.com.au and get stuck into your next project.
1200hp RAM TRX

Tuned by Dontex Performance, this RAM TRX is not only supercharged, but twin-turbocharged.
It makes around 1200hp (over 880kW of power) and we’ve fitted the full-size pickup with drag radials to ensure it gets some form of traction. But while it makes around 1200hp, it’s both heavy and not very aerodynamic. So this will be a close one!
Without the Dontex mods, the standard RAM TRX packs a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 producing 523kW of power and 882Nm of torque.
Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato

Build with more ground clearance and an off-road focus, the naturally aspirated V10 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is one of the best sounding ‘off-road’ cars on the road.
It’s powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre petrol V10 that produces 449kW of power and 565Nm of torque. Just like the RAM TRX, it’s all-wheel drive and comes with launch control.
This was WAY closer than we thought it was going to be.

| Car | 0-100km/h | 80-120km/h | 0-200km/h | 1/4 mile |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1200hp RAM TRX | 3.10s | 1.69s | 9.77s | 10.71s @ 208.18km/h |
| Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato | 3.37s | 1.82s | 10.82s | 11.04s @ 202.48km/h |
Both cars were fairly evenly matched in the standing-start race, with the TRX just nudging ahead. Things got even closer still with the rolling race, but the TRX ultimately came out as the victor!
