The Mazda 6 is a discontinued mid-sized car that spent years as Mazda's practical family sedan and wagon alternative to the Toyota Camry and Subaru Liberty. It blended sharp styling, a comfortable cabin and a more engaging drive than many traditional fleet-focused rivals. In Australia, the Mazda 6 still appeals to buyers who like conventional passenger cars and want useful boot space, long-distance comfort and a mature driving feel. It is no longer sold new, with Mazda's SUV range now carrying most family duties. Its strengths remain refinement, value as a used buy and the availability of wagon body styles.
