The Audi A8 is the flagship limousine of the Audi range, built around comfort, technology and understated luxury. It sits above the A6 and A7 with a larger cabin, more rear-seat focus and a quieter, more relaxed driving character. The A8's appeal is not showy performance but the way it delivers smooth power, quattro all-wheel-drive security, high-end materials and advanced driver assistance in a restrained design. In Australia it remains a low-volume alternative to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series, aimed at drivers who value subtlety over theatre. It is Audi's most comfort-focused passenger car, with the S8 sitting as the performance-led version of the same formula.
