2022 Aston Martin DBS
The Aston Martin DBS is a discontinued flagship grand tourer that sat above the DB11 as the brand's more muscular V12 performance car. It is no longer on sale as a new car in Australia, with the modern Vanquish now carrying Aston Martin's front-engined V12 flagship role. The DBS combined dramatic coupe proportions with a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 producing 533kW and 900Nm, rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Its appeal was never subtle: huge torque, a rich soundtrack and a more aggressive visual presence than Aston Martin's regular DB models. It remains one of the most powerful modern Aston Martin road cars, aimed at drivers who want continent-crossing pace with a strong sense of theatre.
