The Alfa Romeo Junior is the brand's new entry point in Australia, positioned below the Tonale as a small SUV with both mild-hybrid and electric powertrains. The Ibrida uses a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder mild-hybrid system producing 100kW and 230Nm, while the Elettrica uses an electric motor producing 115kW and 260Nm. Both are front-wheel drive and covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. The Junior gives Alfa Romeo a more urban-focused model with compact dimensions, distinctive styling and broader appeal than its traditional sedan and SUV lines. It also marks the brand's first electric vehicle in Australia, while the hybrid version provides a lower-priced route into the range without requiring a full switch to electric motoring.
