The Volvo EX30 is a compact electric SUV that lowers the entry point to Volvo's EV range while keeping the brand's safety and design focus intact. It is smaller than the XC40 and EX40, making it well suited to city driving, but still offers strong performance in higher-output variants and a clean, technology-led cabin. The EX30 is aimed at buyers who want a premium small SUV footprint with electric running costs and a more distinctive look than mainstream alternatives. Its minimalist interior, Google-based infotainment and strong acceleration give it broad appeal, although the compact body brings packaging compromises. For many Australians it is the most accessible way into a new electric Volvo.
