The new Volkswagen Tayron is a large SUV offered in a 5D SUV body style. Available in Australia from $48,290 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Life variant and topping out at $73,490 for the R-line.
There are 3 variants of the Tayron available in Australia and this generation went on sale in November of 2025.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo (150kW/320Nm) and 1.4L turbo (110kW/250Nm). All variants feature 7-speed automatic transmission. Both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2026 Tayron is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
